In your 15 underrated rock albums, you state that Duke is Genesis’ second album. I am truly hoping that you simply omitted the phrase “after Steve Hackett left the group.” As a Genesis fan from way back, I somehow find myself correcting the somewhat misleading information about the group that seems to make it’s way around the internet and on the airwaves. On at least 5 occasions, I’ve called radio stations to tell them that And Then There Were Three, was not after Peter Gabriel left, but Hackett. If you want to write an article regarding underrated band members, please write about Hackett. He seems to get NO love and I’m unclear as to why. I’ve met him (at a meet and greet prior to one of his shows) and he is unbelievably approachable and KIND. He had a significant impact on the band’s sound and is never really mentioned when you have members like Gabriel and Collins. Hackett in conjunction with Tony Banks (another underrated member), have made some fantasic musical contributions to Genesis together.
Thanks for your time.
